It was a long weekend and there was nothing but rain predicted for at least 3 days streight. I was out of work since the place i was worig at at the time had been closed for remodeling. Claire was a young girl always on the move, about to finish up high school and move on to college. Claire slid into depression without her four legged eyes and close companion. Her loving mother had ordered another Seeing Eye dog to arrive that week. Clair and her mother Kristen were very close. Clair’s father was away in Korea, fighting the war. So Claire’s closest friend and aid was her mother. Clair was worried about her father being away but she had another serious teenage problem on her hand, senior prom was this week, and she had to get ready fast.
