don’t want to let you down but they only have a very small section of pantyhose at the retail store, I was there once thinking I could pick up my list of pantyhose but the sales lady told me they only have a very small amount there (just the Consay brand), they have another web office for all the pantyhose u see on the seb site but u could order thru the web site and pick them up at the retail store
I am not surprised that the retail store does not carry a huge range of pantyhose. I have been lucky enough to visit the premises of a number of on line stores with whom I partner, it is quite an experience. I will try to explain what you are dealing with in numbers.

Take a typical on-line store.. they may have as many as 350 different lines of hosiery, they will each come in at least 4 colours, and at least three sizes. On the whole the manufacturers/distributors will demand they place a minimum order of 6 pairs of any given style/colour/size combination

350×4x3×6= 25200 packets minimum

When you consider that popular lines and colours such as your typical 15 denier sheer skin tone hose will be bought in hundreds not dozens, and that some come in 4 sizes rather than three and you will find that a busy store will probably have over 50000 pairs of hose in stock.

10 pairs in a box will fill a space 10″x8″x4″ (320 cubic inches, 0.185 cubic feet) So 50000 pairs would fill 926 cubic feet, that is like an 11′ square room filled floor to ceiling. (about 30 cubic metres, a room almost 4m square)

Looking at it another way, if you stacked the boxes on shelves against a wall with the boxes out longways and stacked to 6′ high with shelves at 2′ spacing so you could actually get the boxes in and out you would need about 250 linear feet of wall. (That is about 80m)

That of course is storing “wharehouse style”if you used display cases you could comfortably double the space required.

I have no idea what level of stock shapings hold, but a quick count up on their site reveals nearly 550 styles of tights/pantyhose/stockings. So you could double the space estimate above.

Sadly shapings are the one on line store who do not co-operate with my site so I can’t give better details.

I have been buying my pantyhose from Rob at shapings for years now. that guy knows nylons! an article in answers.com under men in pantyhose shows that his sales are 85% men…. I am one of them. it is difficult to pick a favorite of his selection I have had many many orders with him. you wont find anyone more helpful or knows pantyhose as well as he does. give them a call. you will be more than happy with them. lately the platino nacar 15 and the nacar all sheer are my favorites. yesterday while I had time I removed all of the torn and worn pantyhose from my dresser that my wife and I have ruined and I’m making sure that the ones that I have are the platino pantyhose.
