asian supermodels in lingerie
I was wondering how everyone felt about pics with quite a bit of air brushing. Sometimes I feel like I can’t really see the hose the way I would like or even the girl clearly. Do you think too much air brushing is used sometimes?
I am almost done with my website and I’m trying to find a happy medium between a pretty picture and not too much photoshop. Any opinions greatly appreciated.

I hate airbrushing. Look at Krystal Red, Slutty Sammi, and several others…their legs look like mannequins in some of their pics.

I want to see the real thing, and if it’s not perfect, so be it. I want to be able to see the threads of the pantyhose, not have the legs look like smooth plastic or latex.

Just my dos centavos.

I have to agree. When I see the photos that are airbrushed it almost makes it look cartoonish, like the hose are just airbrushed on. I want to see the threads and the shine. This topic was raised on the Pantyhosexperience board some time ago under a post by Krystal Red, and boy did the shit hit the fan over that. I won’t join any sites that have airbrushing. Thats one thing i like about Pavels and some others, it’s all untouched, or so I think

PS You sould post the same question Rose on Pavels board and see what type of responses you get. Good luck.
I didn’t mean to ruffle any feathers, I just wanted some opinions since I see so much airbrushing I thought maybe everyone wanted that really smooth look to the skin and hose. I looked at Pavel’s pantyhose site and yes, the girls are photoshopped and it is done well and looks more natural. I think both looks have their place, the high glamour glossy shots and the more natural everyday look.

Anyone here vote for the high glamour perfect look?
Hi Rose. I wish you great success with your website. I can only tell you what I am looking for when I look at a pic, so this is only my opinion. I first look at the statement being made. The theme of the set of pics. I prefer minimal props and simple background that will not distract or detract from the model’s statement. I look at lighting and if its tone matches the theme of the statement. I look at wardrobe, even if just hose; and if just hose what kind, color, and texture. Do the hose blend with the skin tone. If there are huge blemishes, a simple base treatment will cover the area. I like to see freckles and even old scars. It means the person is real and has lived life. For facial makeup, I like to see minimal unless a statement is being made with it and fits the theme. I like to see both hose and makeup match the models skin tone. I also look at posturing and facial expressions, and what statement the model is trying make with them, and how effectively that comes across. In summary, I prefer a model focus on content and not manipulation of the digital image. I want to see the real you. In the end product, many times the imperfections can turn out to be a surprisingly perfect fit. Hope this helps. All the best.
i hate the hole idea of airbushing pantyhose on the ladies legs everytime is see them on here makes me want to delete the hole subject

I think you’re missing her point completely. She’s not talking about adding pantyhose to a picture where there aren’t any (which I think is what you’re talking about), she’s talking about taking a picture of a woman already in pantyhose and using photoshop to touch up any blemishes on a woman’s legs to make them look as perfect as possible; sometimes to the detriment of the picture. Sometimes the touch-up job makes the legs look almost too perfect and unnatural. It makes it so you can’t see the weave of the nylon and in some cases.
Personally I think that the purpose of hose in general is to enhance the look of a woman’s legs. I don’t see the need for a lot of touch-ups.
As to what I believe you meant jockman, I’ll start another thread because I’d like to comment on that.
I didn’t mean for this to be a damn all photoshop thread. The camera will pick up flaws and magnify them so a little photoshop just leaves you with what the human eye would normally see.
Most magazines have very photoshopped images since they found that they sell better. The only pics I’ve found that I don’t like have had so much work done on them that the skin appears to be made of wax that is melting.
Well, since some of you asked, I will chime in….
Many of you look at pics and assume they are airbrushed because you may notice the pic to look, hmmmm, how should I put it… “Too Smooth”. This does not always mean airbrushing is used. There are numerous filters and such that are used on photos to try and smooth them out and clean them up.
Personally, I use a degrain program that degrains and sharpens the images. It is added into my batching (which means I do not actually airbrush most of my photos, I batch them as a group). Since many are batched, there is the occasional image that, for some unknown reason, gets way overdone by the degraining process and make the hose look too smooth. That is the look some of you are complaining about, no threads to the hose, the shine gets pulled out and so on.
I do airbrush some photos and I use filters on all of them for the following reasons. My light kits are 800Watts each and if you are not familiar with how bright that actually is, it is really freakin bright. Lights that bright will often make any skin flaws show up, even skin flaws that you would never see in the light of day. It makes everything more pronounced. It makes some girls more splotchy, gives some girls red marks and even makes ache that is invisible to the naked eye very visable. During a shoot, which is an average of three to four hours of shooting, make-up can wear off or wear off only in spots, which with bright lighting can cause very uneven skin tone in the face. In those cases some very light airbrushing is needed. I will say this, I do not airbrush bodies or pantyhose for a couple reasons. One, I do not see the need to and two, it takes waaaay to much time. I put up too much content to be able to airbrush all the photos. Now that being said, I have done it a couple of times, mainly for testing perposes, just to see what it looks like and so on.
Guys who say they do not join any sites with “airbrushing”, well you must not join ANY sites because I do not know any sites that do not alter thier photos in some way. I also hope you do not purchase any magazines because they are the kings of overediting. I was looking at a Leg Show last night and one o the girl’s crotches was so over airbrushed, it looked like a mutant crotch.
The key is balance. When altering and filtering photos, you need to find that happy median and not make them too overdone, too smooth, too airbrushed and so on. In other words, when editing you just have to find ways to enhance your photos but try to not make them look overenhanced.
Also, many of you need to understand there is a huge relation between what monitor you are using, what video card you are using and what resolution you are using and they way they display photos. Many cheaper monitors, cheaper video cards and lower reolutions will make photos look out of wack, grainy, overenhanced and so on. Most of your standard computers you purchase at places like Best Buy do not come with good graphics (or image display) capabilities. I use mostly higher end video cards and run my resolution at 1280×1024 with highest Color Quality because I am also a gamer. When I built Izzy’s I put a much cheaper video card in it and she runs at a lower resolution. I can see a huge difference in the way photos look on our computers. On hers, they are much darker, more grainy and just look off.
Anyway, there is my $.02
