My wife typically doesn’t like to wear pantyhose, but I can convince her some of the time. I was always hesitant getting a FJ while she was wearing hose. She has some hose in her drawer, but she doesn’t remember which brands they are. Most of them feels like sandpaper. The last FJ I got the hose felt really soft, but of course she doesn’t remember what they are and they were destroyed in the wash.
Should I look into a lower denier or higher? Do I need to spend big bucks on Wolfords to enjoy a FJ?
What do you guys prefer? Thanks in advance!
Hanes silk reflections are good too. As are Preston-york [or something like that]
One thing - with any hose, make sure they are not inside out cause inside out they feel more rough.
Ironically - a brand called “Silkies” feels like sandpaper no matter how they are worn. They have like one line that is soft, but most of them are good only for a replacement for steel wool.
Preston-Yorke is, I believe, a department store private label.
I wholeheartedly agree about the Silkies. Years ago, bewitched by their postcards, I joined their pantyhose subscription program. I never could find any that didn’t suck. I never thought I’d be unhappy about getting pantyhose in the mail every couple weeks, but those are some shitty hose.
