I can say that several years ago I did compliment a flight attendant on her hosiery, but then again, she was my friend’s wife so perhaps that does not count, lol. But seriously, whenever the proper opportunity presents itself I am not opposed to walking up to a woman and compliment her on her hosiery, however, and I want this to be clear, you simply do not walk up to a lady with the sole intention of telling her about her hose as that will typically freak a woman out. Though you may have it in your mind to say something about her hose, the first words out of your mouth should not be about them. The only place I have been able to compliment a lady on her hosiery from the start aside from a chance meeting in Walmart with one of the managers, which I posted about in this forum, was at a shoe store and believe it or not the woman started the conversation about her hose before a word came out of my mouth. It was one of those discount type stores and on one side of the aisle in the middle of the store was the men’s shoes and the other side was the women’s shoes. I noticed her hosed feet and was thinking about saying something and she apparently noticed that I had looked and she said that she is so old fashioned that she still wears pantyhose. I was shocked and complimented her and left it at that. Thinking back I probably could have taken it further but hindsight is 20/20!
It may have been done before but just asking someone you dont know? you may offend her and get kicked off the plane and maybe get to get escorted out of the airport even by security as well.
