There is still hope! I knew that the slightly more mature women would eventually find that bare legs works for very few women. She also hit the nail squarely on the head by mentioning that women are indeed pressured to stop wearing pantyhose.

The best situation will be that pantyhose will come back into acceptance for women who like wearing them. They will be the ones that we cherish. I can’t help but think that women who like to wear pantyhose are probably also more likely to have a naughty streak.

While clearly satire, this article should be a hint to women everywhere that bare legs and heels look tacky. Why spend hundreds of dollars on vericose vein treatments and that infrernal spray on tan in a can, when you can spend as little as 5.00 or so on a pair of Leggs Active Support (suntan if you don’t mind please! ) and make your legs look like a million bucks.

The uncomfortability factor is just a cop-out. So are heels and thongs and tampons etc… but you don’t see women abandoning them do you?

But what do I know? “I’m not a woman, I just play one in TV!”

I take this article as a sign that the tide is turning. A couple years ago, nobody would have had the guts to write something like this. But now the bare leg fad seems to have run its course and the pendulum is swinging back to neutral.
