Drive In Discovery

The first weekend back, Dad and Mom invited me to go
along with them to the drive-in movie. Since I
really had nothing else to do and couldn’t afford to
go out on my own, I accepted their invitation. About
five P.M. that evening my married, younger, Eighteen-
year-old sister, Kathy, showed up at the house

I was getting ready to head for work one night, while my neice was arguing with my daughter, my wife had asked me to take my neice along with me for the night, as this would cease the arguing between them. So I got myself together, put on my uniform, grabbed a blanket and a couple of pillows, as the nights were getting colder, and we set off for my assignment for the evening.

My niece was silent during the ride to my assignment, and it was quite cold, even with the heater on, she continued to shiver. Once we arrived, she was shocked to notice that this assignment was watching a newly built house, it wasn’t furnished yet, but it was quite warm with the help of an oversized BTU heater.

When I found the hoard of pornography hidden behind my son, Brad’s desk, I was surprised only because I wasn’t expecting to find it. A little part of me was disappointed in him of course but I quickly got over that. He’s 18, I told myself, and I’m not so naïve that I don’t know that young men looked at porn.
