My family & I plan to arrive at the gathering sometime during the start of the final week of June. I really want to be involved with set up & camp / kitchen during this gathering and plan to be centered in Kiddie Village. Anyone planning to be there around this time? What needs to be done, brought in, etc.? I would like to know what is most needed / helpful for us to bring so to help contribute w/ food, fun, shelter, etc. Would love to touch base with others planning to be centered in Kiddie Village.

looking 4 folks who were in wv at last years gathering or at the ALWAYS FREE JAMFEST also in wv after the gathering who might be going to colorado in july?
I was at WV but I highly doubt I´ll be able to make Colorado this year. I´m just returning from studying abroad in June so I´ll be very broke and needing to start a summer job before heading back to school in September, which I highly doubt will let me off long enough to make a trip that far. Perhaps if there´s a northeast gathering late in the summer I can pop by, or perhaps I will have to wait till next year.

I was just sitting there and wondering this. Say I was driving and I got pulled over and they ask or drivers license and insurance, what if I say nope don’t got those but my name is Gyva only…. how long can they put me in jail before they have to release me? I bet my car would be gone or towed. Can someone share the pros and cons of giving the LEO’s a fake name…. Driving I bet is a different story than just walking around the gathering and getting ticketed (Which I did at the Idaho gathering! $75.00 for being to close to a salmon stream and I was about 3 miles up road of the parking lot road turn off with a friend just sitting there on a dirt road that wasn’t closed off or anything! Grrr…) But had I given that ranger a fake name would I have gotten off…. Any storys would be great to hear as I might just leave my drivers licenes in my car and become someone else if it puts me in a better position and could avoid what happend to me at Idaho 2001……

So I bugged and bugged my work for time off to go to CO and they actually gave me the time off!!! I’ll be out there from July 1-7. Can’t wait to see all of you. I’m excited to see new and old family. Come and find me and I’ll give ya a hug!

My husband married me four years ago knowing that I was a hipy, but today Ive been informed that he thinks that hippies are child molesters and that i cant take my nine month old daughter raven with me to the gathering because he thinks i cant PROTECT her. I broke down and cried like a sissy when i heard all of that there,, not too sure what to do about it,, my other daughter cheyanne isnt his by blood so he told me he cant stop me from bringing her buit that i cant take my lil one. What could be going through his head to think that a peaceful gatehring of people would be bad for her. If anything I cant imagine a better place for her to be. I bet my lil one would love it there. Anyone got any good ideas on how to talk to him ? or what to do? Im lost here guys,,, no frigen clue what the hell to do now,, any ideas?
