Hi! I was thinking of going to the gathering but just heard from someone who lives in Steamboat that their friend went up there to check it out and was sprayed in the face with acid. Are people often dosed against there will at gatherings? As a straight-edger I would not be amused if it happened to me. Perhaps its more likely to happen at some camps than others?

i don’t think there’s enough good acid around for people to bepulling that. I haven’t seen it since the 80’s at dead shows.

I have been going to gatherings for many years and im sory to say but i

have seen people get dosed unknowingly but not unwillingly, however it wasnt a true L and it is verry rare and would happen at some camps rather than others,I have never been dosed unknowingly..
Very rare for someone to unknowingly get dosed; never heard of anyone being dosed against their will at a Gathering. When eating sweets that have strange hippie names, you might ask what is in them, they could be ganja treats…
its extremely rare & personaly it would piss me off to no end if it happened to me or if i ever heard of it happening

i have a spinal chord injury..psychodelics no longer agree with me (i quite them altogether bout 5 years prior to my injury) if i was dosed unknowingly it can cause severe reactions.

trust me, if it does happen, it is grounds for calling a shanta sena council on whoever does it
plesse..come…& inform your freind that this action is in no way ok, & they can, & perhaps should inform shanta sena about it & have that person dealt with
either just yell shantasena loud as u can..or inform anyone with a radio
or info..or bring it up at council

i have never ever heard of this at a gathering, howeber i had seen at shasta some idiot offering ppl crystal wash uf unknown strength to people whodd never tripped b4..taken willingly yes..but it was so incredibly powerful..& because it was unknowmn strength they took massive amounts..it was just totaly iresponcible & caused may problems..

Crazy rumors, that’s all this is; like the time in MN when JuJu was pouring water for some locals & the locals wouldn’t drink it cuz he had a piece of paper in his hand (bumper sticker backing paper from a sticker kick-down). This rumor probaly had a completely innocent beginning like someone spraying people with water to cool their hike…

huh. Paul was a looking at NM and he got some of the lightest weight he’d ever been near. ‘Twas a bit unrefined (body aches, other wierdness).
