I just got phone call that Little Hawk arrived at Shanty Pond. This is The Raven. A-Camp will have the BAR again & the front gate will have Little Hawk. If you don’t like it "STAY AWAY." A-Camp has been around longer than most of those who complain about it. Take away A-Camp at the Ocala gathering and the rednecks (who really hate hippies) will come in and terrorize you. The LEO’s & Marion County Sheriff haven’t had to call the EMT’s or take anybody out who was beaten n bloody in a couple of years. IN-YOUR-NECK!!!

The Bar worked well last year. Intoxicated people hung out there and didn’t bother folks who didn’t want to be bothered by intoxicated people. A-camp is Family too. However, we need a sober front gate again. Intoxicated people have bad judgment as to who is a threat and who is not. Shanti Sena movies require de-escalation, not beer-inspired violence.

Wanna work gate or shanti sena? Hit the wagon. Need a drink? The Bar’s always open. The safety of the Family depends upon it.
is there going to be a backdoor into the Ocala gathering? apparently i’m suppose to appreciate the A campers for protecting me from the evil rednecks but truth be told i’d rather avoid the whole A Camp scene if possible. Thanx for any info.

Little Hawk did quite well "protecting the Family" last year…from his jail cell. Geographicly, Handy Dan was at the Front Gate. Most people who parked at that Maine Trail (southern?) end of the site parked on the other side of Dan’s and the Trailhead from where Little Hawk would have been, had he not been in jail. And most people at the gathering parked on the back gate (north?) side of the lake. I don’t believe anyone was camped at back gate. Little Hawk’s Corner was a "Front Gate" for the Bar, and Luke’s place, and that’s about it. I doubt if most of the people who came into that site, whether they were rednecks who hate us, or undercover snitches, or child predators. or frilly hippies, even saw them. Except for Cornbread, who also spent the gathering in jail, most of the rest of the Usual Front Gate Drunken Thugs were noticably absent. And I got to take care of my pregnant woman, spend lots of time with Luke at his last gathering, and be an assistant water boy. I hope the geography of this year’s site makes something like that possible this year, even if the whole tribe of Drunken Thugs should show up, and neither A-Camp nor the Gun Clan of the Funny Green Suit Tribe shows up to keep ‘em in line.

Been going since 86 and i make it a point to see littlehawk, he is there. today is the last day of hunting season in these woods & kids will start to disperse tomorrow to 65-a, the kids that have a season camping pass are gona stay untill the 14th(End of huntcamp). im seeing a lot of new faces an lovin it, good vibes and good spirits are all arround.I really hope to see all of you there

there have been a few citations handed out dogs on leash Trash laying arround & unatended fires and food, showing us they mean buisiness( all ticketed by same guy),the camp host refuses to ride with him cus of this.

Luke, who’s ashes were set free to the wind-n-road at A-Camp July 1st 2006, had the idea that in every town you have drunks. In every town you have a local bar for the drunks. At the Ocala Gathering we equal or out populate the local towns. So why not stop complaining about A-Camp and just let the BAR open…It will work as long as it’s going to be…

I’m wondering how many Little Hawk bashers have sat and listened to the wisdom he has to impart. He walks the red path and has so much love. Sometimes he teaches hard lessons and will not put up with disrespect. I was proud when he gave me and Shaggy blessings. If anyone reading this talks to him send him love from Shaggy and Tish. Speaking of my mate, if I had stayed away from A camp like I was told to, we would not have met. Together we fly, together we grow. He used to get a little out of hand Agro wise, but with the love that we share he has found his balance. And I don’t care wht anyone says it’s good to know if need be he has the ability and doggyness to take care of any threat.
The problem is not with A camp, it’s with those who look down upon us. You want to find Shaggy and Sweetpea at a gathering check A camp, that’s where we’ll be.

I’ve spent years camping with the both of them. You’ve got a few years to learn yet mama. But truly, Good luck with Spiccoli.

You don’t know me. And maybe you didn’t experience Little Hawk the way i did. I’ll admit I don’t know him the way you do. I wasn’t talking about his wisdom on running or working the front gate. And respectfully, I can’t even begin to know all the history there has been.
Bringing my kids into it… Did you talk to either my kids or me? It’s interesting that’s how we’re remembered.
I never didn’t think I have lots to learn, we all do. Be careful not to think you don’t also.

Im noone but many moons ago, myself and my husband wolffcub spend lots of time with LH, he is like all of us and has many facets to his person. The fact that hes still alive is amazing LOL Ive travelled with the FU family and been a road dawg sistah but now im settled in raising my own family.. we miss the gatherings and send lots of love to LH~

Hmmmm.. Sounds to me like yer an oxy-MORON Mr. AGROhippy. Are you one of those talk tuff but ain’t got the stuff kinda rainbozos? We don’t run into the woods and ‘get em right where we want em’ — We deal with it right on the spot- on our terms. I am proud to be an A-Camper- even tho I don’t drink anymore, My wife and three kids and I live on a school bus that says over the door "A-CAMP FRIENDLY- NO RAINBOZOS . Whatever you say to the contrary- YOUR rainbow experience is greatly facilitated by A-Camp. Thanks to us, and Front Gate, you can hang out and be blissful inside with out having the locals come blasting thru. Remember that next time you see a big ole truck kickin up dust in yer face while driving to the site. Thanks to the A-Camp family, all you peace lovin family members can be peaceful and relatively safe cause we kept the riff-raff at the parking lot. And for all you "KIND RAINBOW" lazy shits- Last year at Ocala, there were about 5 people helping load ALOT, if not ALL of yer trash from the INSIDE, onto my bus to haul to the dump- 860 lbs to be exact, ( paid for by myself, ) and ya know what? 3 0f the 5 had an A-camp tattoo. Where were you? ( Raven & Sharon, thanks fer the rest!!) I have the pics to show what the rest of you all do. ( or don’t) The Bar was the 1st place to get cleaned up to a ‘nothing but footprints’ condition. Took a week to pile up all the trash from the lot. You do drive a car don’t you? And had to park it somewhere, where the odds say was in the PARKING LOT. Can you honestly say you brought out all yer trash that you consumed? Seems to me everyone is always complaining about the trash that A-CAMP produces, but no one seems to be able to look me in the eye when I ask if they carried even a grocery bag of trash out to Babylon when they left. I love how all you peace and love types feud all the time…..very instructive. I was being tongue-in-cheek with my response. Of course I wouldn’t abandon people to the horrible thugs who you say would show up in such numbers to cause problems for the THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of Rainbows who have travelled to some rural county where they outnumber the locals by two to one. Can’t you just surround them and OMM them to death or something? Just giving you a hard time. Maybe you should lay off the booze and develop a sense of humor. I like to have a drink or three, but I never use it to justify my behavior, agro or not.
