yeah 20 years ago was manuel norriega, and things have changed alot. make no mistake the US created that whole norriega fiascoa. what you do find is great country with wonderful and warm people. we have had 2 previous gatherings in 05 and 06 and they were both around 200 people. i thought i had already posted this gathering on hipforums, nonetheless, you can still find tickets for like 400-500 dollars. … maybe see some of ya der … tenali

Location: Farles Prarrie. Seed Camp to start first week of Feb. please do not arrive too early as there is a 14 day limit within the NF that is beginning to be enforced.

Holding Camp is currently at 65a south of Salt Springs, about 20 miles away, but some will move to another location TBD before moving onsite.

This year will be my first gathering. I want to know if it will be more enjoyable for my wife, kids, and myself if we bring them or leave them at grammas. They are 1 and 5 and I’m concerned with how well they’ll do in the woods for a week.

All advice and experiences appreciated.
id say it all depends on what your looking for out of the gathering.if your lookin for a family experience,its there,.. if thats what your askin.. in my opinion kids are what make the gatherings. there what its all about.. they are our future..

what i heard discussed though was washington or i think new mexico again/..both would be sweet but the east is more in desperate need, i have been hopin for new england for last few years, lotsa ppl been talkin vermount ever since utah i guess, but those arent really folks who bother with vission council.

I am from an Anglo-Saxon background (well, let’s just say white lower-middle-class American). When I was a pre-teen I shared a bedroom with my older brother. We had one of those daybeds wherein the bottom bed pulled outward and then was raised so that both beds were side by side.
When I moved out on my own I always slept by myself.
On a few occasions I have had to share my bed for sleeping space as I do not own a couch. It’s generally a mutually agreeable arrangment.
My question : Have you ever shared your bed with someone with whom you weren’t intimate? How long is the longest you would want to do that?

The only thing that I kind of have a problem with in homosexuality is that most of it takes place before marriage (even though Im not a virgin) since it is non existent in most of this country, but if they could change this, it is 100% acceptable.

Sorry for the lenght up front guys…lots of thoughts and no organization….lol. Well, I was sitting in the back of my english class (with no teacher..wen’t to make copys) like everyother day talking with my best friend who is gay and open but not pushing it on everyone. I mean he’s not going around yelling "Hey I’m Gay!" he just nod’s when asked and will be open with his boyfriend..also in my english class. Well, this is college remember where we are supposed to be adults, durring class today these two skinheads (if you don’t know what they are they are vile disgusting animals who shave thier heads and worship hitler) can over to them both and started to beat the shit out of them while screaming "god hates gays"…I mean they both have black eyes and Jason is sitting in the emergency room right now getting his hand put into a cast..(also no one stepped up to do anything). Once I noticed what was giong on..happened so fast I didn’t know how to react at first, I jumped in and got one of them off while pretty much getting my assed kicked too (lets just say I was a receiver on the football team so I’m not a very big guy). Now here’s where it gets interesting…these two kids are obviously going to have police problems..assult battery..hopefully they’ll have to pay for my buddies hand, but so am I! The cops said that the kid I knocked out was 17 and that his parents are pressing charges against me for assult. Now the most I’m looking at is 30days and a fine (I’ve done more time for smoke so thats not what I’m pissed about) and they say I can’t use defense because it was my friends who were attacked not me and that I should have stayed out of it!!!!! Can you fucking beleive this? I mean yeah they were suspended from the campus (as far as I know they are considering expelling them) but why the fuck and I getting charged! Isn’t this some bull shit? They are telling me I should have watched my friends get beaten sensless by animals instead of defending them? What is this going to do to society in the long run? Maybe it’ll be on the news…if you live in ft myers check it out, but thats fucked up! Oh btw they are both ok now just in some pain. I was just wondering if anyone else has had something similar happen for a reason as stupid as being gay? I mean you guys have a lot of courage to come out and let people know when you could face something like my friends. I’m proud of each and everyone of you for having the courage to step up, and for those keeping it private..I can now say I understand why.

I can’t believe it, I actually found someone who has a "Gay Bob Doll" for sale on ebay! It is a really rare collectors item that came out in the late 70’s. The cool thing about him is that he’s, well…..how should I say…."ALL MAN!" You gotta check this out, I’ve always wanted one but couldn’t find one anywhere since there aren’t that many left except in private collections. Just thought I’d share since I don’t have the means to bid on it myself. Peace!
