anybody know what’s up with the two gatherings for the beggining of july? one in colorado and one in the ozarks… seems silly to have them both at the same time. is there some sort of east coast-west coast thing going on?
The Ozark one happens every year in the same place, at least I think it does. Reason being that that area of the country and south and east of that area are usually very far from the gathering site often too far for many folks. So this Oark gathering is there for folks who either can’t or don’t want to make the much longer trip to the site of the big national.

Hello from me to you.. i met some rainbow family in waveland, ms that i have a few questions about.. anyone know about camp second helping? if so please help me out with this main question.. are ron and mama kaboom real rainbow family or are they as it seemed to me.. just on the coast for a free site to live at and free supplies.. they have everything they need to start feeding the people in waveland.. but every other rainbow that shows up leaves within a week.. anyone care to inform me of why that is? thanks to all for your support and help with this issue..

My husband married me four years ago knowing that I was a hipy, but today Ive been informed that he thinks that hippies are child molesters and that i cant take my nine month old daughter raven with me to the gathering because he thinks i cant PROTECT her. I broke down and cried like a sissy when i heard all of that there,, not too sure what to do about it,, my other daughter cheyanne isnt his by blood so he told me he cant stop me from bringing her buit that i cant take my lil one. What could be going through his head to think that a peaceful gatehring of people would be bad for her. If anything I cant imagine a better place for her to be. I bet my lil one would love it there. Anyone got any good ideas on how to talk to him ? or what to do? Im lost here guys,,, no frigen clue what the hell to do now,, any ideas?

well, I tried to go home today. I was met at the beginning of FS 505 by a Feddie road block. There were (as of 7 am today,6/20) about thirty ‘rainbow vehicles’ and at least 50 hippies on the outside of the roadblock. I was told there are either a ‘couple hundred’ or a ‘few hundred’ or ’several hundred’ folks who are inside the site, depending on who I asked, The people on site obviously got there before the feds. The FS ICT will not allow anybody in or out (people can leave but they may not return). Also, they are writing tickets. I spoke to one person who was ticketed for walking past the imaginary line that the Feddies have drawn in the sand. Court date for the tickets is on 6/23. The folks at the road block said that the folks who are behind the roadblock are being hassled and ticketed, although I could not speak to any of them.

i checked the weather report. average daytime temp around 80 (great-not too hot!) it gets to be round 60 by 8 pm, and down to 40 through the night. bring some blankets!

If anyone has seen or heard anything about this brother please let me know. His blood sister contacted this one sister named Heather, who we drove out with to CO from Philly. Well we all went our seperate ways because Heather and her b/f went to visit family somewhere in CO. I had to hitch a ride to Denver to catch a plane back. I couldn’t find him before I left. His blood sister wants to know if he’s ok and when he’ll be returning to Philly. If anyone knows of his whereabouts please tell me so that I can pass this message on to his sister. If you don’t know who this is he has long long dreads and is in a wheel chair.
