Ok , I went to the gathering and my husband that was supposed to pick me up never did, He left me stranded in colorado and when i got back to tulsa last night i found out that he got a protective order against me saying that i cant come near my kids til the 17th when i go to court over it. A few casualties emerged from the woods in North Routt County on Monday and made their way to a Steamboat Springs collision repair shop.

A man who said he was coming from the Rainbow gathering, 35 miles north of Steamboat Springs, looked beaten up and was not talking clearly because his face was swollen when he entered the Custom Color shop Monday, said the shop’s owner Dave Mihaich.

I told my mom a few months ago that I want to go to the gathering this summer with my cousin. When I told her she seemed to be fairly open to the idea, but when I brought it up again a few weeks ago she made it out to be the worst plan possible.

She says she wasn’t aware that it’d be a camp out for a week sort of thing, and that makes her really nervous. She doesn’t think it’ll be safe, especially for two young girls such as me and my cousin. She also doesn’t understand why I’d even want to go, and I’ve tried to explain to her what the gatherings are about.

I know alchohol is discuraged at gatherings, but what about marijuana?
Ganja is great, and most would not chide you at all for bringing, smoking and sharing. But this brings us back to the whole issue with the permit and the idea of the gathering being a peaceful protest (?). If we really want to say that we have the right to gather, without governmental interference, then we need to leave the illegals behind. One fight at a time, I’m all for fighting for the legalization of cannibus, but the fact remains it is not only an illegal substance, there is a war declared on it. That alone gives them reason to come in and declare our peaceful gatherings a "menace to society".

this bus has been nothing but hell
ive worked seven days a week non stop just to pay it off then i lose my damn home when i had to come to canada and got stuck here for almost two weeks ya im still stuck here cuz they wont let me out of this damn country then i run out of money since ive been stuck here but the damn bus needs damn oil change and tire before i can bring it home o yeah and then after i magically get this thing home i get to work seven days a week again just to pay the bills

If anyone has any questions about Clarksville or the surrounding area I’ll do what I can to answer them. I’m not real familiar with Fallsville but pass through there from time to time. If I remember correctly theres one sort of tiny general store in Fallsville but it doesn’t have any gasoline. There is a small store in Ozark about 5 minutes from there. Clarksville has been pretty dry this spring but we got a good bit of rain today and more is expected through the week so it shouldn’t be anywhere near as dry as last year’s gathering. There are camping spots along the river just south of town past the walmart on exit 58. That park has rv hookups and open showers. If you drink you’ll have to go to Scranton across the river for beer or Altus (famous since the simple life was filmed there) for wine and spirits which is about 30 minutes west on I40. The Harvest Foods is franchise but locally owned if you don’t want to shop at walmart. Panther activity has been a lot higher in town than normal this year. It shouldn’t be a problem but if you go wandering far from the gathering just be aware. The local paper can be read online at Also, I’ve talked to a few family and they said leos are being a problem (one guy said they basically tore his car apart) so be careful. You don’t want to get caught with more than 1 oz of grass on you for sure. Thats all I can think of atm. If you have questions just ask away.
