ok iam feelin sorta down today, and i know why, i see all this pain and suffreing in the world, its like i feel mother earth weeping over everything. it makes me sad, the goverment is tearing down more trees to build things, that really upsets me, the land is all we have, how can we show fututre genrations the land, if its not there.

we need to stand up against the man, boldy give the man a middle finger, and say enougth is enough., we the people are now speaking, is this not a democrocy?? when do we the people get to run the country, like its supposed to be, we got this crazy texan who thinks hes a sheriff in office, making all thease stupid decisons, were losing not only our own people but others, are dying for a cause , that dont make sence to me. we dont need to kill others over oil, or fight over money. uncle sam give up the greed, let the green pastures grow again, let us hear the tree frogs sing us a song goodnight, let us see the sun rise and sun set on the rivers, lakes, creeks, streams, and oceans.

i met a drainbow and he was so cool to hang out with at the gathering… we got stoned, he was fun to be with, we didn’t have to do all that hard work… it was just hanging out and being happy… just like hippies are supposed… so i think rainbows should love the drainbows and then everyone will be happy
i think you’re mistaken what a word "drainbow" is because it’s not something to be proud of. A drainbow is someone who constantly takes from you. Whatever you give them does not satisfy them. They do not work to help out the community. I don’t hate them, so don’t get that assumption.

we have a drum circle every tuesday night. the location seems to always be changing and I haven’t been there in like a month. i’ll prolly go this tuesday, so i’ll let you know. i know they have picnics every now-and-then, but I work weekends and can’t go. there are a lot of rainbows in philly!

Only recently have I found the Rainbows, and it seems like a definite future "home" for me. I grew up in Colorado, and when I read the past Gathering was held there I was anxious to see pics. I was expecting to find pics of peace, love, maybe some music? But to my suprise I saw pigs running around, beating up hippies. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?

" When large numbers of people started showing up in Colorado for the gathering in June, 1972, Governor John Love had- the roads blockaded into the gathering site. People started hiking across the mountains to the site - a three day hike. Finally 4,000 people stood in front of the road block asking to be let into the gathering. The road block yielded - the people walked eight miles up the road to the gathering site. By July 4, there were 20,000 people at the gathering. Before daybreak on July 4, several thousand of these people walked to Table Mountain, seven miles from the site. They walked to the top of the mountain and made a gigantic silent circle until the afternoon, praying and meditating for world peace."

Ok, so my guy Pigtails and me met at the gathering this year and now we’re stuck on each other, He wants to give me one of his dreadlocks next year and have it sewn in to one of mine,, Do you guys think that this will work?
